I would be delighted if more TV projects were planned especially dramas and comedies from the 1960s or 1970s.
If they do, here is what I am hoping for from them in 2021 or 2022:Do VEI have any other tv projects planned? There are so many one season or short lived series that deserve their shot on DVD.

VEI has always been good with me about replying to my emails for suggestions of other releases. They always tell me that my email has been forwarded to the acquisitions department. I requested "Dan August", and about a year later there it was for sale.
Probably not if the Scott Baio-era Happy Days isn't coming out even if Charles in Charge did get finished. Then again, Joanie Loves Chachi was considered worthy of release. Outside of giving Laverne & Shirley theme song singer Cyndi Grecco another Gimbel & Fox theme song to sing, it also explains why Nancy Walker left Rhoda.
Nancy Walker left Rhoda to do The Nancy Walker Show. Blansky's Beauties came later.
I read that because of some of the songs heard here, that a DVD release might not be possible unless they are replaced. This series was also the lowest-ranked of the three that had capitalized on the success of the 1978 film National Lampoon's Animal House (ABC's Delta House and CBS's Co-Ed Fever being the other two).
I do hope Shout! Factory can win the rights to this one!

The Nancy Walker Show, which was a Norman Lear production, was very funny. Blansky's Beauties was typical Garry Marshall drek.
There aren't too many CBS/Paramount shows I'd want, but a complete set of ONE STEP BEYOND would be fantastic. CBS only released the 1st season and the multitude of PD sets are less than desirable (which likely impacted sales for CBS, dooming the other seasons).
Saying 25 copies was a pretty low blow; about half of those on the list could reach that bar, but besides the sarcasm, I'm guessing possibly 5 or 6 could reach the 500-600 units sold mark, if there is any reasonable means of advertising support. I'm thinking of Slattery's People, Paper Moon, Bustin' Loose, the Associates, Madame's Place, The Cavanaughs... That's not to say 500 would be viable. Most of these were not worth remembering, and there are a lot better choices and wants out there however (Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, Cade's County etc) I give ClassicTVman credit for coming up with a list. Who knows, maybe a couple of them will get their time to shine...Other that Day By Day, tell me one show on your list that would sell more than 25 copies. Better question, what has VEI told you when you sent this list to them, which I assume you did, since no one here is going to be getting them released.

Excellent list, Neil. While I know the lack of existing usable tape elements ground Shout's release of the remaining seasons of The Defenders to a halt, do you know if usable tape elements exist for the following CBS shows:
East Side/West Side
The Nurses (a.k.a. The Doctors and the Nurses)
'Way Out
Thanks in advance for your help.
Some half-season shows do get DVD releases every now and then. I know VEI did release the 1981 version of Nero Wolfe (only 14 episodes, plus the 1979 pilot) and The Immortal (15 episodes, plus the 1969 pilot) on DVD in 2017.
