Just set up my denon 3805 reciever, i need to re-calab. my speakers.What is a good referance point to set my psb's at.... Fronts are 7pt's
center is a 9c
rear's are 10s
svs 39-46sub

My buddy chip set them at 70dbs with a anolog spl meter.

I would like to run them a little hotter,with out damaging them,need help on this one......Frank

You need to look in your manual and find out what your test tones are meant to calibrate at. It should either be 75db or 85dB, not 70, though it is not all that important. The reality is, as long as the levels are set correctly relative to one another, all you have to do is turn it up...

Nice speakers. I'm jealous. I have 6T's. Sometimes I wish I had the 7PT's. Did you compare the 7PT's with 6T's before you choose the 7PT's?

What is your SVS subwoofer? It looks like a strange model #.
