I wasn't sure where to put this, so I apologize if this is the wrong forum.


Can anyone recommend a specialty shop (or preferably a few) in NYC that will give me good advice and won't rob me blind?

Thanks, Michael! By the sound of those threads, Stereo Exchange and Sound City (possibly J&R) are the best bets for my budget ($1200 total for receiver and 5.1 speakers).
