May Guesses:

Hondo
Hanging with Mr. Cooper season 2
Jayna of the Jungle
The Eleventh Hour season 2

Would love to hear some of your guesses. That way we can spread the "wrongness."

There were only three Frank: Xiaolin Showdown season 3, Guns of Paradise season 1, and Moonchikkis ?

As for May. Gotta think ahead. I may add Symbiotic Titan to my guesses for May releases.

It's just a dry spell. It's just a dry spell. It's just a dry spell. And I will be purchasing Xiaolin Showdown at some point. But I would love to hear some news about more classic tv to DVD releases.

I'll take a long shot right here, TEMPLE HOUSTON (NBC 1963-64). This series was being planned for the 1964-65 season, but NBC wanted Warners to move it up a year early. Go read about it on Boyd Magers' Western Clippings website, click on "Do You Remember" and you'll know what I mean!

To Frank Soyke,

Frank, what classic tv series do you want WB Archives come out the most? or the top five?

Just curious

I wish I knew what the holdup on the final season of "The Eleventh Hour" was since we got the first season more than a year ago.

This is a deal for Time-Warner cable only and has nothing to do with Warner Brothers movie studio which WA is a part of. I don't think AT & T could come up with the money that deal would require.

Time-Warner cable was sold to Charter Communications last year.

Assuming the following articles + press releases are not "fake news"', they assert that the "Time Warner" that is being acquired by AT&T, is currently publicly traded under the stock ticker symbol TWX.

The "Time Warner" which owns Warner Archive is the same one which is publicly traded under the stock ticker symbol TWX on the NYSE.

Not me, but a reaction not too far from my own when I read that the big WAC TV release for May is The Wayans Brothers.

No offense to those that like and want the series, but come on... Not counting cartoons, that's it? Really?! (Even counting the cartoons, I'm not impressed.)

The variety of film releases (DVD and Blu-ray) from WAC each month is amazing even after all this time. This year's lack (so far) of any TV releases I either want or am at least willing to consider trying compared to even last year is very telling. I won't say they've given up, but WAC is certainly testing my patience this year with its TV selections.

The output for classic TV and Cartoons this year has been very disappointing but if you look at how much their blu-ray output has stepped up there is the answer. They have many different product lines to release and only so many resources. So when they greatly increased the blu-ray output something had to be cut back and it appears it is classic TV and animation. They have in the past gone through cycles on what they release stuff so I am still hopeful that classic TV and animation will pick up in the second half at least somewhat.
