SVS vs Mirage (1 Viewer)

Hello, Has anyone compared the SVS 20-39 PCi against the Mirage BPS 400? I've heard the Mirage before and it is a beast in more than one way. Very heavy and bass that will pound through your chest! I've seen so many great reviews about the SVS that it has gotten my attention. Has anyone heard both subs to compare? I can get the Mirage for $699 and I believe the SVS 20-39PCi is $549 plus shipping. Any thoughts are appreciated.

No, but do you like bass that pounds through your chest?

Some musical subs doesn't really pound chest but rather fill the environment with bass tones and causes the room to shake.

I remember hearing that the chest resonates at about 30-40hz and is sometimes caused by distortion or bass spikes. Have you considered a more musical sub or do you want a HT sub that packs a punch?
