Could somebody tell me if this receiver can decode dolby digital ex/ dts es. The website says it has 6 channels of amplification with the 6th channel being the additional back surround. However, the specs list it as being dts-es and dolby ex compatible. I don't know what this means. Is pioneer just not wanting to pay licensing fees?

I read over at the DIY forum that Jason's VSX d850s wont do dd ex but will do dts es. Isn't this ridiculous? Why would pioneer (or any manufacturer) put out a receiver that just does dts es and not dd ex?

This is riduculous, I'm having a forum by myself.
