Today's new reward announcements for Wednesday include a different WandaVision poster as the Hot Reward (the one with the two characters behind a bunch of TVs); books Poster Art of the Disney Parks and Disney Eats; a poster for the Disney+ movie Safety; and, last and least, the DVD-only version of Solo.

Also, the Soul watch that was recently added is now out of stock but still listed. The Mulan book has vanished entirely again, so it appears they sold out of it for a third time and don't seem to have immediate plans to restock.

The bluray folks have figured out how to get a quantity available on items -- there was one Boby Yoda and 3 Posters around the time I posted and both are gone again. It's just a bit odd to imagine even the small number of who might be interested in such things that are just sitting around on 20000 points.

Maybe they were waiting for the Studio Tour to come back ...

Back when it was DMR, I think I had 4500 points waiting for a good disk set or newer film to be available.

No doubt some people have those kind of points, but then you end up having to have the right item and right person with the points at the same time.

I peaked at mid-high 30K's somewhere before the DMR Clearances. I bought everything I could think all during the cheap sales and ended up 14-15K not even knowing if those would ever be useful. In the year layoff b/w DMR and DMI I topped out a little over 30 again -- since then down to half that.

I received the Soul USB drive/keychain on Friday. It's very sturdy in its construction and quite attractive. The clear logo glows red, green, and blue - depending on what the drive is doing (installing itself, reading, writing, etc.). It's only 16GB, appears to be USB 2.0, and was pre-formatted as FAT32 with the drive name of SOUL, but there is no pre-installed data on it like a press kit. It looks like it was a promo item that may have been created as a gift for either the premiere or for press junkets, with the intention of installing a press kit (which, given its small storage, makes sense).

Nothing for me this week because I already got everything I wanted that is now included in the sale when they were originally listed. Do we think "Final Few Sale" is just a marketing term to promote the sale, or are they actually going to be getting rid of these items in the future and starting over with new rewards? This is interesting.

I really like Oz the Great and Powerful and would recommend it, although I've owned it since it came out so don't need it.

I almost pulled the trigger on Pixar Shots 2, but I think I'm going to wait and see if anything more interesting comes along down the road.

Re: Universal Rewards - the pop-up reminders are increasing, so I predict a changeover in movie codes next week.

They are also all available on Disney+, and I can count how many times I've actually watched Volume 1 on Blu-ray since it was released on one finger.

Also interesting to see that the Blu-ray of Oz the Great and Powerful, which was just added today, is in the "final few" sale despite being new. I really like that movie and would recommend it, although I've owned it since it came out so don't need it.

A bit less than an hour total, but I got a couple phone calls in the middle and the folks at Bluray. com helped fill in some gaps.

A bit more than 1/2 the items put up this morning are already OOS.

This month's newsletter just popped up in my inbox. I already had the points from it thanks to @David Norman's link, but this caught my attention in regards to the sale.

*Final Few rewards available 1/27/21 8:59 AM PST through 2/3/21 11:59 PM PST. Quantities are limited. Available while supplies last. No returns, exchanges, or refunds. All redemptions final.

So the sale is on for a week. It isn't clear what they will do with any rewards during that time which don't sell out. Meaning, do they just get resisted at their normal point values or are they all taken out of the rewards catalaog at the end of the sale regardless? I guess w'll see next week.
