Little help please. Looking for some tropical feeling movies to play for residents here next week or so as we endure this dismal rain streak. hehe.

    So far I have:
    The Beach
    Blue Crush

Dont think you can beat Blue Crush for setting and vibrant color but perhap I am forgetting some.

    thanks!

North Shore. Like Blue Crush, it's a surfer movie. Give it a try. I know I'm going to have to get the DVD now that I thought of it.

I agree with Greg for I too own "North Shore", I am still waiting on "Ride the Wild Surf" it's on VHS. Mysterious Island has a dry tropical setting, "On the Beach", "Lake placid", "The Long Ships", "The Vikings", 2D "Pearl Harbor"
have no rain in them. [IMG]

Though maybe dated and not everyone's favorite, the first movie that pops into my mind when thinking tropical is South Pacific
