Well, that’s a step in the right direction.
God Bless the feet of those who Bring Good News. Thank you Michael, and thank you Mr. Feltenstein. From Michael Reuben:
"There's some good news for fans of the Warner Archive Collection.
George Feltenstein has returned to Warner as a full-time employee, where he has once again assumed control of WAC, including its Blu-ray releases. We can expect those releases to continue for the foreseeable future.
Anticipating the likely (and reasonable) question about the reliability of this information, I will add that it comes directly from Mr. Feltenstein, with whom I spoke this afternoon."
He started working for 'em again a week ago today. He just told me about an upcoming off-the-negatives double-feature (which will be of CHFB interest), now that he's back in the saddle. All's right with the (movie geek) world again.
Thanks - "There some good news..." is quite the understatement. From Michael Reuben:

That's gotta be a Val Lewton production. I hope. Some additional info per Tom Weaver of the Classic Horror Film Board:

There’s a lengthy interview with George Feltenstein on this video cast. Well worth checking out.www.tapatalk.com
Well, during those few months, ownership of WB began the process of changing handsI guess this is more of a rhetorical question but why fire him only to hire him back a few months later? I'm certainly glad they did but what made Warners suddenly decide they cared about their catalog again?
Thats a possibility. As well as the 1932 and 1941 versions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Attack of the 50 foot woman and a 2nd allied artist horror film. That's gotta be a Val Lewton production. I hope.
Exactly. That's what I would like to know but I don't suppose we ever will.I guess this is more of a rhetorical question but why fire him only to hire him back a few months later?
