Oh yeah El Cid, one of my very favorite films, a superb epic, fantastic Miklos Rozsa score, heard its popping up next year on dvd along with 55 Days at Peking, mmmmm another must have widescreen epic for me.
The Omega Man is a film I absolutely loved when I was a kid, and still do, a cult classic, great Ron Grainer score too, I saw that listed somewhere as coming out soon, can't wait...
Don't know if Soylent Green is coming out on dvd.
P.S. Don't forget what Soylent Green is, it's.... no I won't spoil it...
Some titles like "El Cid" are available as Region 0 DVDs. I have had it for many months. You can get them at places like www.geocities.com/jeffpeanuttw/. Some of the DVDs available have subsequently been released as Region 1. The covers look identical but I have not compared them to see if the quality is any better.
