I just bought these speakers today to use as rears and discovered that on the back it said the impedance was 6 (with a funny shapped n afterwards) i presume ohms. The specs on my amp are as follows ---

Pioneer VSX-604s.

Continous power output : Front (1kHz THD 1% 8oams) 165 W + 165 W.

Continous power output (dolby pro logic): Front 110w + 110w center 110w rear 110w

Speakers : Jenson (DR-1205) 130 W 92 inpedance

I wanted to run these little speakers at the back, with the jensons in the front in dolby prologic mode. I have a center. Will it work ?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, you'll be just fine.

That "funny looking n" is the Greek letter omega. It is the common symbol for ohms.
