I received a KLH 10in 120watt sub recently, and am not impressed. I understand that it's a discount brand, but could I take it apart and replace the individual speaker with another. I understand that there is a crossover to contend with. Do they have to match in some way? I have a decent...

I am just a newbie so any help would be appreciated. I have recently received a Harman Kardon 320, have had a few frustrating things happen to me. First off this is my equipment setup. I have my CD audio outputs hooked up to my CD audio ins, then my DVD hooked up to Coaxial one, and comp...
Please correct me if I'm wrong but was "you give me this to play with Hmmmm ok" meant to be condescending. I apologize that I do not have a multi-million dollar setup but it's what I could afford. If I wasn't clear in my question please clarify. If it's just because you were bragging than...
I really need help. I have been piecing together a H/T system for myself and am going to receive my last and most important piece my receiver on Wednesday. I have spent all my time researching this receiver and a DVD player, which I picked out for my Wife to give me for Christmas. So it's...
I made up my mind and want to purchase the 320. However like a few of us I'm working with a budget, so if anybody knows of the current lowest price site that has a factory warranties please a reply. I've looked and am having a difficult time getting replies from the sites themselves.
Thanks...
What is Neo 6.1, and is DTS ES only used with a 6.1 system? I am looking at the HK AVR-320 and I don't know if it has neo 6.1 or if it's needed. Also can it replicate a six channel for DTS (phantum). I have a 5.1 setup but want to get the best sound possible.
Does the 320 have DTS ES, DD-EX, and also I heard it doesn't have all the PL-II adjustments. So what adjustments are indeed missing. Also what are the difference's between the 520 and the 320 besides, HDCD, more power, illuminated remote.
I've read some of the bad publicity about Marantz 7200 being way over rated. However it looks like a good unit and much more reasonably priced than Denon, or Onkyo for example. So should us non-professionals take warnings to heart or take advantage of the bad publicity's effect on the price...
I really appreciate the feedback. So if JVC is lacking in the interlaced output (which i'm assuming is the only output non-HDTV can pick up) which are better suited. Please keep in mind that I was wanting to put it on my Sears card, so the inventory is limited.
Does progressive-scan work with non-HDTV's? I am going to get a DVD player and am deciding whether or not to get a
JVC XV-S62SL which has progressive scan or save some money and buy a cheaper non-progressive scan player. The TV is a 5-year old 27in Sharp. Thanks
I have a seven or eight year old 590 Yamaha myself, unfortunately it quit on me several months ago. Don't get me wrong up until that point flawless performance. It's time to upgrade anyhow. Most unfortunately I undated myself with all this new tech stuff, and now find it hard to trim away all...
I can't decide, both seem to fit my needs. I just need someone with experience to push me this way or that. I haven't heard the 520, but I have heard other models and they sounded good to me. Please help, what are the important difference's that can be found? What I found is that the 520...
Ecost.com has the 520 at 609.95 I don't know about shipping costs. I'm looking at the same receiver, but have a few questions myself. I know they have multi-room ability however I didn't see additional speaker outs for that purpose. Do you need a separate amp? Also what is the remote like...
I have a Yamaha RX-V590, and I was listening to it while it shut off by itself. The volume was moderate it had only been playing for 15 minutes. I tried to turn it back on and it would click on and off. I tried unplugging everything
turned the volume down nothing worked. I opened it up and...
If you really want to buy local that's cool, but you can get your receiver a lot cheaper on the net.

I am not a rep just trying to find good deals for my own receiver upgrade.
I will be using my setup about 50%-HT 50%-music. I started out just looking for a receiver but came across these speakers for sale. It's a five peace JBL set without a sub, so if could use these and get a sub later that would be great. I know it sounds pretty stupid not just listen for my...
I thought I saw something about HK coming out with new receivers with Pro logic II. Went to check them out and ended up on Infoseek. Does anybody know the address? Also I heard that some receivers with Pro logic II are not equipped with all the controls? Thanks
Whose line? What movie...
I am just starting to build a system, and have two 10 inch speakers. I have replaced them with a some satellites. I will not be able to get a sub for some time, however in the mean time can I use my old speakers for my lows. I mean can I get usable bass from hocking them up to the B front...
I have been looking to upgrade my current two speaker setup. I had my Yamaha 590 receiver fry on me, so I am now wanting a complete overhaul. I recently bought some JBL speakers (2-MR26, 2-MR25, and MR center). I bought them on impulse, however cheaply. So are they decent or should I turn...
I have been looking at all the recommended brands(denon, onkyo, yamaha, marantz, etc) and was starting to narrow it down when I received my crutchfield magazine. A few of the jvc's looked interesting. On paper looks good but, how about the sound and quality? Please help.
I wondered onto their site and tried to figure out how it works, but didn't get very far. Does anybody know how it works and know if it is safe. Thanks Steve
I was wandering if anybody knew where the cheapest place (online or off) to purchase A/V euipment, more specifically receivers is. I understand that with cheap prices come cosequnces so please leave out any shadey dealers.
I appreciate your help guys. I have been looking for some time at receivers to replace my old one that fried on me. Sorry about getting so technical with you guys. I had been wanting to upgrade my non digital receiver for a more recent model, so I used this opportunity to convince my wife we...
