Not a single Robert Clampett directed cartoon. That's super disappointing. Instead we get 9 directed by Charles M. Jones. A little more balance please. Nice to see Frank Tashlin finally being represented though.

By my calculation, there are 23 new to disc (I don’t know if any were extras on movie discs). Definitely not on prior Looney Tunes collections

One Meat Brawl was on “Hilarious Ham” DVD
Rabbit Rampage was on “Golden Collection V6” DVD (as an ‘extra’)

All the rest seem to be new

Happy to see some Tashlin, sad to not see some Bob Clampett, and with the inclusion of the Tex Avery Cartoons does that mean that another Tex Avery set won't be coming?

I thought *all* of the pre-60s Foghorn Leghorn tunes had already been released on DVD and/or BR... but no! How'd I miss "The Leghorn Blows at Midnight" not yet being out? Looks like I might need to revisit my list...

28 of his titles have been issued by Warner on Blu-ray so far.

I keep hoping for one of my childhood faves of Avery's, the 1940 toon, OF FOX AND HOUNDS. It even made it to (an imported) Avery laser disc collection, but to my knowledge it was never available on DVD.

Wikipedia has it on a domestic laserdisc, too, but no DVD.

Well aware, just wonder why none on this set, given Robert Clampett’s stature among animation historians. Maybe Warner’s is saving them for a Tex Avery style set. He and his A Team animators certainly deserve it.

I realize the need to include Bugs Bunny but they really are scrapping the bottom of the barrel here. Rabbit Rampage (1955) is a poor sequel/remake/steel by the same director Chuck Jones, of Duck Amock. What worked for Daffy Duck does not work for Bugs Bunny. Bugs should never be a victim.

HARE-BREADTH HURRY (1963) was nearly the last Bugs Bunny cartoon and is really a Road Runner cartoon with Bugs subbing for the Road Runner.

I wonder if they were able to find/restore any of the blue ribbon titles. The blue ribbons of the 1940's have no credits.
