Yah, I got it. Obviously, it was not a shitty city wall ;) .
But he pronounced it like the American "Shitty".

The wall stuff was funny. "Damn Mongolrians!" I thought the decoy was funny. And the Sweet & Sour Pork. I think I detected a hint of Monty Python and the Holy Grail there.

Finally saw this one this morning. Hilarious. I noticed that next week isn't a new episode, are they done with new episodes for the time being?

Once again, I had to wait to watch the newest ep. Long story.
It wasn't as good as last week's, but the Mongolians were awesome! I'm starting to really love the crowd sounds Matt and Trey make. From the priests in the Vatican, the "rabble rabble" and the Mongolians (sounding not unlike the animated scenes in Holy Grail). That sounds like a fun job, standing in a studio and making funny crowd noises.
Does anybody know when Hilary's ass will stop getting larger? :)
I'm afraid that this was the last episode for now. The studio site has the next new one to air 11/6/02. Awww. I thought there was going to be six in this run. Did I miss something or was there only five? Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait for November. The Season One DVDs come out in November as well!

New episode tonight! Be here to discuss. Woo hoo!!

I'm not even gonna get into the whole DVD commentary fiasco here. Enough has been said on the software board, but suffice to say I will be getting the box set and the CDs.

4 1/2 hrs. to go here on the West Coast!

Missed it, but I'll catch the later showing tonight. :)
I might send in the proof of purchase to get the set, who knows, I might just get the DVD's. I can't imagine myself listening to them more than once, especially since I'd have to put them into the CD player and all while the episode is playing on my DVD player. What a drag.
:)
ladder to heaven looks to be funny.

Previews for next week look hilarious. Some sort of "Harry Potter vs. Lord of the Rings" theme.

OMG there was some funny stuff in this one.

Best bit was Cartman singing "In the ghetto (in the ghetto). He's a boy wearing orange and he's losing his pride cause Kenny and his whole family reside in the ghetto, (in the ghetto)"

The Japanese guy was hilarious too. Almost as good as the goddamn Monglorians.

Good to have at least a bit of Kenny back. I miss that kid. *sniff*

I enjoyed this episode, but it wasn't in the upper echelon.

However, I loved seeing Saddam at the end. "Ahh, c'mon guy..."

Couple of my favorite bits:
The guy in the street. "If heaven was an 8 year old boy and the ladder was my penis..." Especially the second time when he calls out as the camera is panning off him, "Hard nipples!"

Cartman drank Kenny! Also, the Japanese "heaven".

On the downside, no Tweek, no Butters. Where's Butters been lately? Haven't seen much of him since the Simpsons did it.

Nothing else really stands out in my mind, but the absurdity of the boys in the clouds was fun. "Kenny? God? Gramma?" Although we didn't see Kenny in heaven, it was good to see him in flashback.

yeah good ep, I laughed and laughed when Cartman drank Kennys ashes. Seems that for happy comments I had seen about getting rid of kenny they found a way to bring him back anytime they want, in a fashion.

Great episode. Feels good to have new episodes of South Park back on the air. Now if we could only get those commentaries on the dvd instead of on a seperate cd. Sigh:frowning:

Hmmmm. Not one single comment about probably the funniest episode of SP in months? Curious....

Hey, hang on. I was gettin' to it!

This was a great one! The ending had me rolling. Those kids have the dumbest parents in the world! "Now let's talk about the double penetration".

Token was hilarious! "I don't want to play anymore." Five midgets and a man covered with Thousand Island dressing.

We get to see a whole bunch of Butters watching porn. When he played Lord of the Rings on Kyle I was dying!

One little problem, however. I never read the Rings trilogy and have been purposely staying away from any spoilers until I see the next two films. But now I think that the rest of the story will seem a little familiar after watching this episode. Sure this was super-ultra-condensed, but it did give away a bit. Didn't it?

I like how they're keeping up with the Kenny's soul storyline, but don't you think if Cartman had Kenny's soul in him he would constantly be in danger of being killed?

Looks like we get a generic commercial for next week. Means they still have a lot to do. It's really cool how they can make these shows so quickly where every other animated show takes months.

You'd be surprised at how little they gave away. Watch trailers for TTT and you will learn more about the story than they showed.

Anywho, this episode was great. The parents explaining everything to Token, then him saying all the things he saw, then the parents explaining it to the kids and them not getting it, plus all the jokes in between....classic. Those guys know how to write comedy.
