Sony DVD-NS755 (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I'm currently looking at the Sony DVD-NS755, I have seem them for about $225 online, I have seen the player in action and I'm very impressed, it will be hooking up to a MITSU 55" HD Ready Widescreen. My question is, Is this really the player for me, I have seen a lot of threads about the Denon players picture quality, can anyone give me some advice on one vs. the other or recommend a sub $300 player?

I'd say checkout and compare with the Mitsubishi DD-8040 ($250 at Tweeter) and the Denon DVD-1600 and DVD-910 (around $300). The Sony's may have the chroma bug and poor de-interlacing of video titles and improperly flagged DVDs. The models I listed all have the Fardouja deinterlacer and are the best for all types of DVD titles.

I have the NS755v. I only use it for SACD, since the video quality is so poor.
