Hi,
I have a non-HDTV display(Toshiba CX32H60) with component inputs. I currently use my Xbox (connected via component cables with the Microsoft HDTV pack) as my DVD player. Since I don't have an HDTV, will I see any benefit from using a progressive scan player as a DVD player on my current TV vice using the XBox (or any other non-progressive scan dvd player for that matter). I am considering buying the Toshiba SDK710 (http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/deta...email,ewb03275) because of an excellent deal on ecost. I will be buying an HDTV within the next year, so I will have need of a progressive scan player in the near future.

Thanks,

Mike
