How can it ever be right to have a major production musical film where the main character is dubbed. Clearly a case of miscasting.

Oh come on! You didn't use your brain before posting that. So Rita Hayworth and Cyd Charisse should never have been allowed to co-star with Fred Astaire because they needed to be dubbed? You don't believe that any more than I do.
