NO, I MEAN "VALLEY OF THE DOLLS" not the
sequal "BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS".
The original with Susan Hayward, Patty Duke,
Sharon Tate, and Barbara Parkins, with the
JUDY GARLAND outtakes, before Susan Hayward
replaced her !!!!!!!!
FOX LET'S GO WITH THIS ONE - ASAP !!!!!!!!

My .05¢ worth:

Terror from the Year 5,000 (1958) (not really bad, just cheaply done)
The Neanderthal Man (1953)
The Vampire (a..k.a., Mark of the Vampire) (1957)
The Unknown Terror (1957)
For some extra cheese on top, throw in Fire Maidens from Outer Space (1956)

I'll happily second:

Monster on the Campus (1958)
I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957) (a serious movie with a tabloid title)
I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (1957)
Attack of the Mushroom People (1963)

[Hmmmmm], overall, looks as though 1957 was a very good---I mean very bad---year.

TEXAS CHAINSAW HOOKERS!
THE LEGEND OF ROLLERBLADE SEVEN!
Those would be nice to see on DVD. Classics of the bad movie genre.
What in the heck is Night of The Lepus? It looks freakin' awesome!

Don´t you mean Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers? This one IS available on DVD.

Night of the Lepus is, without question, one of the all-time great bad movies featuring giant rabbits on the rampage in Texas! Determined to find a solution to Texas’ rabbit overpopulation problem, lab rabbits are injected with a special serum that’s supposed to stop them from…well…let’s just say it’s anti-Viagra. The rabbits escape and the serum causes them to grow to massive proportions and before you know it, a horde of savage, man-eating bunnies are stampeding throughout the countryside and only a cast of veteran character actors, including Dr. McCoy, can stop them.

Unfortunately, there just isn’t any way to make cute bunny rabbits appear terrifying even if you do film close-ups of their front teeth with fake blood on them. Keep an eye out for a couple shots where guys in bunny costumes pounce on the actors.

Truly the greatest movie that Bert I. Gordon never made! Believe it or not, the movie is actually based on an Australian novel called Night Of The Angry Rabbit.

In THE MATRIX, When Neo enters the Oracle´s apartment, that´s the movie the telekinetic kids are watching on TV!

I would be a bit wear of this Five Minutes to Live place. check out this quote from the website

5 Minutes to Live operates as a conversion service for hard-to-find movies found on DVD-R format. Please note we do not sell factory release DVDs. All discs are reproductions/conversions from an International source and all charges incurred are for this conversion service only.
and this was a cool thread, too. I want to see Leonard Pt.
6. I remember going to this for my 10th birthday, and me and my friends were the only people in the theater on a Friday night.

200 Motels is not bad if you are a Zappa fan! (I am!)

I saw Impulse at an art house in London in 1990 and I thought it was actually good.

A film I haven't seen on TV in at least 20 years is Fearless Frank, a 1967 film starring Jon Voight w/ David Steinberg, Ken Nordine, and the writer Nelson Algren. It was written, produced, and directed by Philip Kaufman (The Wanderes, The Right Stuff, Henry & June, etc.)

A couple other nominations:

Drive In I saw this with a triple feature of The Lords of Flatbush and American Grafitti in 1977. I wound up getting a video tape from EBay for $40. It still holds up.

The Chicken Chronicles Another movie I didn't think was that bad. Starring Steve Guttenberg, Phil Silvers and Ed Lauter. When I saw it in 1977 I was a sucker for any movie with 50's or 60's music.

Finally, I wish the X-Rated version of Alice In Wonderland starring Playboy Playmate Kristine De'Bell (Meatballs) was available on DVD.

Love to see the aforementioned Chained Heat on DVD.

Also Linda Blairs other epic, Savage Streets.

I remember a sword and sorcery film called Sorceress with two hot babe twins supposedly passing as boys because they had short hair :)

I want a legitimate widescreen release of THE APPLE (please, MGM?). The cover that Sergio showed screams bootleg to me.

It probably is, but who cares? If it weren´t for bootleggers, a good 90% of some great cult movies would be lost forever.

Cases in point: Murnau´s NOSFERATU and Jodorowski´s EL TOPO. The first was banned by the Bram Stoker estate, the second had its negative destroyed and buried by the producer. Copies of those movies only survived because of bootleggers, so let´s give ´em at least ONE credit.
