Yes, I have a copy of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE on the same shelves along with CITIZEN KANE. No, these movies are in no way equal, but for pure entertainment value, I treasure some of the terrible movies people slaved to get on film...
and I want more! I'll list twenty that come to me right off, and I'll stick to Science Fiction, though classic bad movies have been made in all genres:

The Giant Claw
Fire Maidens From Outer Space
Horror Of Party Beach
Earth Vs. the Spider
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Killers From Space
Cosmic Monsters
Attack of the 50-Foot Woman
Creeping Terror
Thing With Two heads
Night of the Lepus
Green Slime
Queen Of Outer Space
Trog
Prehistoric Women
Howard the Duck
Monster From the Ocean Floor
Incredible Strange Creatures Who...
Mesa of Lost Women
Teenage Caveman

I would love to add those to my collection, which so far includes

Frogs; Armagedden; Bride of the Monster; Plan 9; Frankenstein's Daughter; Giant Gila Monster; Ghidrah the 3-Headed Monster; Robot Monster; She Demons and Brain From Planet Arous.

Any great ones I've left out?

Can we add FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER to your great list?

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Killers From Space, Prehistoric Women, Thing With Two Heads, Monster From the Ocean Floor, Mesa of Lost Women, Teenage Caveman and Creeping Terror (as part of a MST 3003 box set) are all available on DVD.

The MST3K dvd of CREEPING TERROR has the film unedited on its B side. However, its only available in the box set containing Bloodlust, Catalina Caper, The Creeping Terror, and The Skydivers

Some of the titles of your list ARE available on DVD, my good friend.
If you a have a code-free, multisystem set, I can point you to the countries where they were released.

I don't know what is keeping Criterion from releasing a special 2-disc edition of Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Think about it....

Disc 1:

New high-def 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer from the restored 16mm original negative. Thousands of imperfections cleaned up by MTI's digital restoration system.

1.0 Dolby Digital mono cleaned from original magnetic tapes. Pops, hiss, and clicks cleaned up by Sonic Solutions software.

Commentary by surviving cast members. (after multiple gunshots are heard, the remaining audio is sound effects-only)
Commentary by Roger Ebert (after a gunshot is heard, the remaining 70 minutes are a music-only track)

Disc 2:

Instead of a 2nd disc, a vial of cyanide is tucked into the case.

I'd love to see some old MST3K-worthy William Shatner flix - Impulse (aka Want a Ride Little Girl?), Dead Man's Island (with Barbara Eden and Traci Lords!), and Pray for the Wildcats.

How's the transfer on Robot Monster.

Ever read Stephen King's, Danse Macabre? It's a gem. Lots of cool insight into the good, the bad and the ugly of horror literature and Cinema. :emoji_thumbsup:

Mesa Of Lost Women is a masterpiece.

Gordon: ROBOT MONSTER transfer is really decent, better than most of the recent Columbia Classics DVD's. Go figure.

If you had checked where Sergio's images reside, you'd have found that those are actually US DVDs from a place called 5 Minutes to Live. And most of the titles seem to be Region 0. At least the ones I checked.

So either these are legit public domain titles, or they are bootlegs. If the latter, then I guess that this thread hangs by a thread, so to speak... :)

I don´t know about the legal status of the 5MTL DVDs.

But I DO know that all those turkish ripoffs (Turkish Superman, Turkish Exorcist, Turkish Star Wars) are public domain.
