Can anyone recommend a good brand black paint to paint the screen wall and ceiling, at a Lowes or Home Depot or somewhere else?

Flat is preferred, right?

Yes, flat is the best. I recommend Behr from Home Depot.

I recommend Behr as well. Matte black is definitely the way to go! Otherwise, you can get obnoxious glares.

I will try to check when I get home. I tried various blacks and found most were too shiny. I ended up with a very flat black which is great.
