I was wondering if Anchor Bay plans on releasing DiviMax versions of Hellraiser 1 & 2. I've been holding out on buying the original DVDs for the longest time. Since AB has done new editions of the Halloween movies you would think HR 1 & 2 would be next. Anybody have any info? Thanks.
From IMDB.com: "Outgoing Miramax chiefs Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein announced Wednesday that they plan to release a kind of duet horror film next spring in which one hour will be written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and the other, by Robert Rodriguez. The two films, they said...
From bloody-disgusting.com: "On the set of Lions Gate Films' Saw 2, B-D's Mike Periera was informed that the Saw Special Edition DVD will in fact see a release this October and will contain not only the director's cut but will very likely contain the actual short Director James Wan and...
Taken from http://www.gorezone.net/ It's going to be a Divimax edition which means it will be a new transfer from a high def source. I dunno about this... The special edition of ED2 is already excellent. Unless the video quality is superb I don't think I'll upgrade.
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/sto...region=single1 "R.E.M. will reissue their entire Warner Bros. catalog on February 15th, with each two disc set including the original album and a bonus DVD featuring the record remixed in 5.1 surround sound, as well as unreleased documentary and video...
Taken from Fangoria.com Street Date: December 28 The DVD edition will be a two-disc set presenting the movie in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, and it’ll be chock full o’ extras: • Audio commentary by director Alexander Witt and producer Jeremy Bolt • Audio...
Holy crip it's a crapple! A good friend of mine who is in "the know" so to speak has confirmed that there will be a new season of Family Guy set for Jan 2005! He doesn't know if it'll be shown on Fox or Cartoon Network. I think we can thank the high selling DVD boxsets for this!
It's coming out on Dec. 2, but I can't find any other details about it. I'm really hoping it's in widescreen, that's all I care about. Anybody know anything about it? Thanks. -edit- You can find the cover art on dvdtoons.com I didn't link to it because I don't wanna leech bandwidth
I'm assuming ABC is going to show the last three unaired 8 Simple Rules episodes during November Sweeps and then air a tribute to John Ritter. That's the most obvious choice. Then it's probable that they'll release a 8 Simple Rules DVD set of the entire series along with the tribute. I doubt...
Hey all, I just saw the Frank Capra film Meet John Doe and I enjoyed it, so I went looking to see if it was on DVD. Well, it is, in a few different versions. So I wanna know if anybody knows which one is the one to get, or if there is a special edition coming out soon. Thanks a bunch...
Hi, I just picked up the DVD of Tape and on the back as an extra it lists the trailer.
Well, I couldn't find it anywhere on the disk. Is this a mistake on the packaging or what?
Thanks,
Jesse
As pretty much all of you know: There are a lot of editions of this movie out on DVD. I'm quite confused by it all (naturally). I would like to know which edition has the best overall transfer. I don't really care that much about the extras. If a movie looks and sounds great, that's all that...
I just recently discovered the great Steve Buscemi film "Trees Lounge", so I went searching to see if it was out on DVD. Well... It is. The only problem is that the special edition widescreen version with director's commentary is apparently out of print (already...). There's a second version...
