Which tv shows being released to dvd this fall are on your top 10 list that you would like to buy?(it doesn't have to be 10)
Looks like it's going to be retro-tv for me.(the credit card's going to take a beating)

Here's my top 10 list in no particular order:

1.Bewitched-2nd season-Oct 25-black and white-(top priority on my list)

2.The Munsters-2nd season-Oct 25 (gotta love Herman's head for the case)

3.Petticoat Junction-Aug 30(even though it's only 1/2 a season the extras make it worth the $)

4.Kolchak,The Night Stalker-Oct 04(been waiting years for this well-made classic tv series)

5.The War of the Worlds-The Series-1st season-Nov 01(a favorite of mine from the 80s)

6.Hart To Hart-1st Season-Oct 25(oh yeah!)

7.21 Jump Street-3rd Season-Sept 06(JUMP!)

8.Adventures of Superman - 1st season-Oct 18(a must-have for me)

9.The Captain and Tennille - The Ultimate Collection-Oct 11-(just for the memories and the awesome guest stars)

10.Dark Shadows-The Complete Revival Series-Oct 18-(not a patch on the original but it was still fun to see them try)

:star:I edited this post and changed it to "would like to buy" in case people aren't planning on actually buying 10 releases:star:

There are three DVD box sets that I want to purchase this fall.

1. Huckleberry Hound, Volume 1
2. Yogi Bear, The Complete Series
3. The Flintstones, The Complete Fourth Season

I have the first three volumes of the Flintstones and I am looking forward to the last three season sets. Huckleberry Hound is by far my favorite cartoon character; he is also my main hobby for collecting. Yogi has always had a special place in my heart. I'll also be purchasing "Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and "Batman Begins."

Nope, but I'm an optimist. There's been about three months between season releases so season 4 should be out before christmas.

Let's go with the remainder of this year, since I don't buy too many TV titles anymore. And let's go top 5 since I probably will not buy a total of 10 TV shows before the year is out (release days are too clogged with must-own film titles like "Wizard of Oz", "Ben-Hur", "King Kong", etc.):

1. Scrubs season 2
2. Twilight Zone season 4
3. Twilight Zone season 5
4. Alfred Hitchcock Presents season 1
5. The Brady Bunch season 3

I'll cheat and name 11 titles in a roughly Top 10 order.

Lost: Season One
24: Season Four (eventhough it doesn't have a release date yet)
Millennium: Season Three
Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Season One
Kolchak: The Night Stalker: Season One
The Twilight Zone (1959): Season Four
The Twilight Zone (1959): Season Five
Tales From The Crypt: Season Two
Star Wars: Clone Wars- Volume Two
Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season Four
The Adventures Of Superman: Season One

Here's the rest that I'll be picking up.

Alias: Season Four
Arrested Development: Season Two
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation- Season Five
South Park: Season Six
Space: Above And Beyond: Season One
The X-Files: Mythology- Colonization
The X-Files: Mythology- Super Soldier

And I'm sure there will be a few more titles that pop up before the year is out. Obviously, this doesn't even get into movies I'll be buying too. I hope no one wants Christmas gifts from me:)

Since I'm mostly a fan of 50s/60s television, I am looking forward to the following:

Cheyenne and Maverick - yes these are just 3-episode, single DVD compilations but, who knows, if they sell well enough then maybe we'll see full season sets.

Combat! Season 5 - this is to be released next week

Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Season 1

The Adventures of Superman, Season 1

Naked City, Box Set 2

Not one person mentioned ADAM-12. I hope this doesn't spell DOOM for future releases.
