Hey all. I am looking to get a new subwoofer.

I have about a 180-210 sq ft room.

I am looking to spend anywhere from 400-800, and hopefully a 12" driver.

Also i am looking for more movie action than music.

What do you think would be my best bang for the buck

Do some research, but the names that always pop up in this price range are SVS and Hsu. Both are internet-direct, offer great bang-for-the-buck and make great subwoofers.

Both have offerings in your price range.

You might start by considering the 25-31 PC-Plus or the 20-39 PCi cylinders from SVS. Both have recently updated drivers and were great subs even before the new drivers.
