speaker reccomendations (1 Viewer)

My room is 14x21 ft with 10ft ceilings. I just purchased
a Yamaha rx-v750 receiver and now I am looking for speakers
and a subwoofer to replace the speakers I have. Listening
is pretty much half music and half HT. I am looking to spend around $750.00. Any suggestions?

Try your local Circuit City to see if they still have Polk RTi70's. Last I checked they had some new for $149 per speaker.

the polk rt bookshelves at cricuit city are quite good. also, the athena bookshelves/floorstanders at best buy are pretty good too.

i would also recommend klipsch and axiom speakers (www.klipsch.com and www.axiomaudio.com), but they might run you way over $1000 easily.
