Silent Hill 2.. DD or DTS for X-Box? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, just bought X-box and a copy of SH2. In the x-box set up screen, I enabled DD and DTS. In the SH2 set up screen it only lets you choose mono or stereo so I picked stereo. I bought the Hi-Def A/V pack for X-box, which is basically component cables with L/R audio, which I have plugged into my Integras VIDEO IN L/R. The reciever always switches to DTS or DD when it has the signal, so why is the game coming through only in Stereo?? Do I need to hook up to the DVD input on the receiver somehow? Please help.

You gotta have a digital conection to your reciever to get DD/DTS. Im pretty sure its an optical cable that the hidef pack uses.

Ok, I know you need optical, BUT... where the hell do you plug in the optical on the Hi-Def A/V pack? Theres no optical out on the x-box itself, so I dont know what to do?!?!?!?

There's an optical out on the HD pack. Just plug it in there.
