Just saw a 35inch Sanyo TV at Wal Mart for 499.00. Is that a go or no go? I'd like to get it but not sure. Hope someone can help. Thanks. William

If you're going to buy an NTSC-only set, why not go with one that features a user menu-accessible 16:9 raster-collapse function? I'd also stick with one of the "establishment"-type manufacturers (Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, etc.) at that price range.

Thanks Jack. Ok will do that. I sort of thought Sanyo might be ok since they've been around awhile but the others you mentioned have a good track record for sure. There's a 32inch Panny I had my eyes on and will go with that one. Better safe than sorry. Thanks. William
