Hi, all.

I'm planning to put 7.1 system in my basement(14X35).

Seating position will be about 12.5' from screen which is also where surround side speakers are.

If I put rear back speakers back wall, it'll be about 22' off from seating position. Another option I can imagine is mounting them on side wall, but due to shape of room(L shape) I can only mount them about 19' from screen and tilting toward seating position.-using stand is not my option, I have a little terminator :).

Any suggestion? Which option is better?

Here's my system.

Front: Paradigm monitor 7
Center: Paradigm cc-370
Surround : Pardigm adp-370
Rear back : Paradigm monitor mini

how bout mounting them on the ceiling? facing eachother. personally i think surround sound is better when its up above you. atleast for my setup, it makes it more difficult to pinpoint where the sound is coming from.
