I'd recommend you skip Polk's subs, even at discounted prices [IMG] If you want a small, decent budget sub, I'd check out the Onyx X-sub for $199 at www.av123.com

    John:

Let me take the time to thank you for your opinions in this and other threads. I'm a regular lurker over in the speakers/subwoofers forum and find your advice to be both well-informed and well-intentioned.

    Thanks!

I don't know when I might actually break down and move towards a new sub..but I can certainly tell I could do better than what I've got! I figure it will probably be a while. Lots of expenses ahead for me this year! But, then again, I never would have thought I'd have upgraded the rest of my speaker system like I have either...so... [IMG]

    Thanks Mike [IMG]

Has anyone bought the R150s? I'm curious to hear how they sound because I am looking for a pair of speakers for the garage for working on the cars to go along with the stereo receiver I picked up at a yard sale for $5.

Dan: I'm not finding them. Do you have a link?

I see, in the meantime, that the R15s, R150s, R300s and CSi25s are all still on sale. But I cannot find R50s.

    Thanks, Dan & Todd!

When I click on the link, it shows the product and the price...but says "Product currently unavailable."

Are you guys sure it didn't say that when you looked at the link? That's the same thing it said back on 10-24-06.

    Hope you get some Dan!

That's amazing. When I click on it now...I get re-directed to their homepage.

They must have pulled the product page. [IMG]

    Good luck, Dan!

Well, i didnt get them from Outpost.com, my order was cancelled.
I called and they told me they dont use "real time" inventory,--they over-sold.
I picked them up from a local Frys B&M for a bit of a bend over price, but i really wanted them, i like them much better than my M20's as fronts.

My question is, -crossover settings??, -system is R50 fronts, Csi25 center, R150 surrounds.
    Please advise,Thanks. [IMG]

Too bad, Dan. [IMG] You might be better posting your crossover question in the "Speakers/Subwoofers" forum.

I know its off the topic.
    (great forums,been reading alot)

I just bought a new system for my room.

Pioneer VSX-516-S Reciever with Polk Audio RM 6750 speakers.
    I want to add some R50's up front.(adding 2 RM50's will upgrade to a 7.1system)
My question is can it be done with my system.

Have any of you felas reviewed or have these RM 6750.??
    Any help,greatly apreciated.![IMG]
