Anybody that bought The Princess Bride 4K/UHD during this flash sale needs to play it right away for the following reason:

"I'll be sending my 4K/UHD back to Criterion because I'm having multiple playback issues with several sequences having severe pixelation and freeze-ups. I won't be asking for another copy and will request a refund. There has to be a batch issue with this release."

I am in a similar situation right now. I have bought a lot of digital copies of films that I still haven't watched, plus we have some streaming subscriptions that will expire in a couple of months (free trials or cheap offers). Plus, it's both football and hockey season. I decided to pass on this sale -- the final decision point being that we are currently in SC, and I didn't want the order held at the Post Office for several weeks with the rest of our mail.

Unexpectedly easy. No crashes, no molasses slowdown

1st order allowed me to hit the $50 cert, email confirmation and Bons Code received immediately
2nd order allowed me to spend it. Order confirmation did take a couple minutes

I did note looking at my acct that the 1st order went almost directly to "Being Packed For Shipment"
2nd order switched from pending to Being Packed minutes later.
Alos usually my orders with more than 3-4 singles or heavier boxsets have been sent UPS, but both of these are USPS Ground Advantage

For me there was two emails.One on Monday02/26/24 advising the sale would start at Noon Eastern Time "Tomorrow." with a $10.00 off code.

And another announcing the sale was live on Tuesday ...
