Thanks for letting me in! I have a question that I hope work in here....
I have some old 5.1 Klipsch speakers..
Front - Sf1 black - https://www.klipsch.com/products/sf-1-floorstanding-speaker
Center Sc5 black - https://www.klipsch.com/products/sc-1-center-speaker
Surround - ss1 black - https://www.klipsch.com/products/ss-1-surround-speaker
Sub - ksw12 - https://www.klipsch.com/products/ksw-12-subwoofer
I bought them off craigslist for something like $75.
I also have a Yamaha RX-V379 - https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/av_receivers_amps/rx-v379_u/index.html
I have moved into a house that has wiring already in the ceiling for the fronts, center and surround...
I think the center and surround can be mounted on the ceiling, but definitely not the fronts...
I found some Polk Blackstone TL1600 speakers on sale for about $100. () They would definitely be able to be mounted on the ceiling.
So....
1. Do you think the Polk speakers will sound as good as the Klipsch?
1. If the answer is yes to #1, can all the speakers be used together. For instance, I would have front on the ceiling AND the floor!
Any other thoughts are welcome!
