I have a lightly used panasonic ae-100 LCD home theater projector(US model) with 138 hours on the bulb. works great. no dead/stuck pixels. no vertical banding (at least that I can determine).

wanting to upgrade to the 300, so the ae-100 has to go...

That is a totally fair price. I paid essentially the same for a used AE100 just recently myself. Someone who knows the value of this puppy should scoop it
