I am interested in Panamax surge suppressors/line conditioners but am having a hard time finding a source (especially a discount source). Do any of the usual internet vendors sell these? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

Which model are you looking for? Do a search on pricescan.com of Yahoo shopping. Or, if you are just looking for a simple surge protector like the Powermax8 coax, I just purchased one on ebay from Returnbuy brand new in package for $11 shipping included. Retail is $50.
