The options for the amplifier are: Denon 3803 ($985) or a Yamaha RXZI ($2400) or a Pioneer 49TXi that I can get on the web for less than $3K but I'm afraid I won't have any warranty with it.Any experiences with these models? What's going to be a better option? PRICES OK?

Where do these web dealers get their equipment and why manufacturers are not honoring their warranties if you buy the equipment through them? Have anybody bought any equipment on the web sites?

I have a Sony KV65 WV7000 hooked with a HD satellite system from DishNetwork and a Denon DVD-900 protected with a Panamax 5100

I would go for the elite. they are killer receivers. It has thx certification, loads of power, and good connectivity. a steal for the price. you can pick it up on ebay for around 2500. which is not bad.

a 3803 plus a separate power amp, like the rotel 1075, sherbourn 1500, parasound 1250, should be better, imo, than a single 49xi.

What about the advanced version of Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration Circuit (MCACC)on the Elite? Isn't it worthed the extra $$? I'm inclined to the 3803 and I already heard it and ir sounds great. But with some many extra features on the Elite I'm not sure yet.
