Once most premium marques had their products made or assembled in the Asian region, i put down my stiff resistance to pay high for Chinese or other Asian made produces.
Production facilities will progress, so as workmanship will improve. What we once may look down upon, may eventually approves along with time... so as the reputation of the manufacturing country.

Going back further in time, my father's generation thought "made in japan" was considered total junk.

Since then, "made in japan" is considered high quality for some stuff such as: electric guitars, blank burnable cd/dvd/bluray discs, etc ...
