Is there a price yet for the Friday the 13th I-VI CD set?

Not yet. Their 4-Disc X-Files set was $49.99 so I assume we can use that as a reasonable benchmark.

I'm not sure if any of you have seen the movie Country Strong, but if you haven't already watch you should check it out. The sound track is almost amazing, in my opinion. It's a perfect movie for snuggling up on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate (easy watching) during a winters evening, but maybe have some tissues aready at the side!

Thanks Richard. I have ordered the Space: Above & Beyond 3-disc set. I might try my hand at reviewing that title and posting here at the HTF. While I am more comfortable talking about film than music, I could see that being fun to do.

I also ordered the 8-Disc Medal of Honor set from La-La Land Records. I had that on my list for quite some time and decided that now was as good a time as any to get it.


From the list you posted, I am interested to hear where Giacchino takes Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol release. I enjoyed his score to part III, and so I hope he builds on what made that a strong entry into the series.

Would like to read that, as music soundtracks don't appear to be covered much on the HTF.

When I saw the LONG list of tracks on this 3-CD set of Space: Above and Beyond I was shocked. Not because I thought the series didn't deserve a 3-CD set treatment, but just by how much music there will be in this set.

For me, the best soundtrack I've ever heard was "Until the End of the World", just incredible.. every track in it matches the film and it's an incredible collection of music..

Whilst checking Screen Archives for some movie soundtracks, spotted a CD score soundtrack for the James Coburn film Sky Riders (1976), which is being released next month as part of a double feature DVD from Shout! Factory.

Bleedin' eck. Now it may be that there's another film which has a similar title, but it sounds familiar. Checked it's main IMDb page, and the plot doesn't sound familiar, but a couple of the cast are (William Hurt and Sam Neill). Gobsmacked at how long the film is (check the film's IMDb alternate versions page). Shall check the soundtrack out (Depeche Mode, Julee Cruise and Neneh Cherry among others...great stuff). Thanks for posting about this soundtrack.
