Scream Factory is once again gracing our home theaters with another entry in their Universal Horror Collection.
This time, Volume 4, which hits some high points in the series.
Most interesting, for me, was the inclusion of The Climax, a 1944 Technicolor Boris Karloff production, one of only...

I discovered that Fox somehow cancelled the blu for American Horror Story: Cult. An amazon page was created ages ago; now it has the dreaded "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock" message. The blu-ray does exist in Region 2...

Years ago after watching a single Hammer film I basically written them all off because I really didn't care for the film or it's style... so in my head the Hammer films were not for me. That film being The Satanic Rights of Dracula that I got in a public domain set.
But recently I watched...

Hellraiser (Arrow) Blu-ray Review
As an admirer of horror films of all shapes and sizes, Hellraiser is certainly one of the very best. Its sequels have been a series of increasingly diluted and evermore generic episodes that capitalized on the Cenobites and Pinhead in...

Children of the Corn Blu-ray Review (Arrow)
Though failing to conjure up many thrills and scares, Children of the Corn remains an entertaining excursion into 1980’s horror happenings. The darkness that King seems to frequently see in the simple, innocent, and quiet life of...
What with it being October... and the fact that Horror is my favorite genre... I was wondering if there was any good horror TV series I am missing. I have a fairly nice selection but always looking for more to add.

I blind bought The Frankenstein Chronicles series 1 blu-ray at Amazon Germany and I'm really enjoying it. There's a UK blu-ray too, but when I bought this, the German one was significantly cheaper. It has an instance here and there where there are unremovable subs translating writing on screen...

Last night I screened the fantasy/horror film Tale of Tales, and it was fantastic. I had ordered the Italian region B blu-ray on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm very glad I did. It's three fairy tales interwoven into a gripping and sometimes horrifying narrative... But it isn't Disney...
All i can remember is that this girl went to her friends house and they were having a small christmas or new years party with a few friends and they invited a strange boy but were being mean to him i think..and they all took a group photo and a dead friend showed up in the picture and they...
