Seed of Chucky is preposterously entertaining for fans of the franchise. While it lacks the darker and somewhat menacing horror of the original film into the first couple of sequels, it revels in the fun and imagination. From here, the franchise would lean back into more pure horror, so this stands out as a wildly bizarre escapade that’s sly, pulpy, meta, and a standout for puppetry. Scream Factory delivers this outing in the best looking and sounding edition possible.
