Hi. How are you?

My old NAD amplifier died like 1 week ago. It was an old one with the DVD inside..

I am currently looking to replace it. I don't have a big budget but I am not looking for crappy receiver either...

I have found a Marantz SR7200 in good shape for 150$ CAD. I will drive 5.1 Energy speakers. I know it's old. I don't mind the HDMI connection I am running with optical cable and all my equipment is plugged in the tv.

Is 150$cad is worth for the marantz 7200. This amp is reliable?

I am listening mostly music but I like 5.1 good sound movie.

I've owned a 5200 and a 7300. If you can get your hands on an older Marantz for that amount of money ... take it. The older Marantz's are incredible for listening to music.

I got my hand on a Rotel RSX 1057. +/- 150 CAD and its brand new, only things its dosent have remote, but i got an Harmony so...

Sound amazing! And still in warm up.

I had an old Marantz SR7300 OSE (original special edition) in the basement system of my old house. I sold it to a freind when I moved about 5 years back. Excellent unit.
