You could get an SVS 25-31 or 22-31 (same sub, just tuned to 22Hz instead of 25Hz) for just over $1000 CAN final price.

I decided to go with the Mirage BPS-400 but you would be VERY happy either way. Also, you should check out the Paradigm PW-2200. It can be had for about $750-800 including tax.

Joe, in the US I aggree. But in Canada, after conversion to our worthless dollar, shipping, brokerage and taxes the SVS become quite expensive to a Canadian. The PW2200 can be had for under $900CDN taxes in. I think the BPS400 can as well.

I'm not sure if CSS can get the Dharman or if it's pricing will be any better in Canada than the SVSubs. The Dharman is on par with the SVS 20-39PCi though.

I would think in Canada the Paradigm PW-2200 really comes into play.

Also: is a general truth (at least for the States) that mail-order subs give the best bang for the buck (not including DYI)?
