About Eyes Wide Shut. I have to agree that the image was probably cropped for the DVD.

I find it hard to believe that Jan Harlan and Leon Vitali would allow anyone to crop Kubrick's film. Even if Kubrick did not finish the film, as some speculate, any cropping would have been done before the theatrical release and to Kubrick's wishes.

...but then again the cameraman was erased from the mirror chrome.
