Hey everyone,

In my last move across country I had to slim down to what would fit in my convertible to move from Vegas to Pennsylvania. This meant leaving behind my treasured TV in the storage unit. Moving my stuff is just prohibitively expensive and so I’ve decided I am probably best off selling this rare TV to someone who will be able to appreciate and use it.

This offer is really just for someone who’s local in Vegas or the Southwest and willing to meet me in person to pick it up in Las Vegas. My plan is when I find someone interested I’ll arrange a flight out and I’ll spend a day in town and gather some stuff I really need/miss from the unit as well as get the TV to its new owner.

I’ve got the magic remote for it, as well as 4 sets of the passive glasses, both of which I bought when I got the TV as it didn’t come with them from the seller. The only imperfection is the previous owner did some sort of tape wrapping and there are little spots missing on the protective coating on the screen in a line across the front. This never was visible to me in 4 years of viewing.

This TV is the best way outside of projection to view 3D content - the 4K screen allows full 1080 resolution for each eye, and the OLED quality is outstanding. I had several DLP projection sets and this one was far and away the best for 3D and the best TV I’ve ever owned. It is painful to think of letting it go but I have to be realistic about my situation.

I also have something like 150 3D films on Blu Ray, and if you want to buy that as a lot on top of it I could work out a deal. I’ve got most of the Marvel films, many of them UK imports when they stopped making them in the US as well as lots of classic era stuff, out of print etc.

When I got this TV in 2019, I drove from LA to Wisconsin to buy it, at that point they were only 3 years out of print so to speak. The 4k/3D combo was only made for 2 years (2015/16) I believe this is the 2015 model. It always worked perfectly for me the time I owned it and it‘s been safely in storage since August of 2023.

The exact model number is LG 65EF9500

People are asking over $7000 for these on eBay. Because I know the person who sees this ad is a kindred spirit and HTF person I’m going to ask $2500 for it, and I’m going to look through my pictures folder and hope I have one of my DVD shelf and then I can construct an exact inventory of the 3D titles I have to offer as well (and I’ll add some pics of the TV as well).

Please feel free to enquire with any thoughts and questions and I will do my best to answer!

Ted

I found a pic of my shelf that’s barely clear enough to work out many of the 3D Blu titles:
(I’m just typing them in the order they were in the pic, a few I still can’t make out will update if i find better pics but this is the vast majority)

I misremembered, on the count its about 150 3D titles I’ve got.

If anyone can work out what I’m missing due to familiarity with the spines in the pic thanks in advance.
