A friend of mine bought a jvc 56 inch lcd tv and its very very low quality for a 2200 tv it was open box and is very pixelated due to im assuming low refresh rates but it shouldnt be that bad im thinking is there anything i could do to help them see true hdtv cause theres no difference between regular tv and hd i know theres a problem with lcd tvs doing this but it should still be better to watch than an analog can u help

There may be something broken with the display (it was open box). What are you feeding it, it may be source related, though I'd lean towards thinking something's wrong with this particular display.
