Yeah, I pretty much need to get them as close to the wall as possible. My room is only 9'7" wide x 21" long- which doesn't give me much room to play with.

I am seriously toying with getting a pair of e50s and putting up shelves for them. I'm going to mock up some boxes about the size of the e50s and see how well it will work.

My AVR is in the shop- and I'm not sure how much it will cost to fix. I have $500 greenbacks that I WAS going to spend on an SPL, surrounds, a decent Universal remote, and supplies for a ten inch riser. It all may have to go towards fixing the AVR, or getting a new one.

And Fred- jr.com is the best! Definitely where I'm making my purchase, be it the e10s or the e50s.

After posting I had not yet opened the box, when I got
home yesterday I set them up.

I dont know it is just my imagination, but after hooking them up, & all my speakers are JBLs now (except Tempest sub), it really woke things up. Everything seems clearer
(for lack of better description) & louder.
Going to have to re-run my AVIA to get all the speakers in phase & settings right.....can't imagine it sounding any better.....:D
