So, perhaps, everything is folded or smaller? Sorry, I missed that picture, I only saw the outside box.
Study the photos more carefully. You will notice that the size of the UK hardbound book is half the size of the US one. See how the posters and discs look bigger in comparison to the Book in the UK picture?Ronald Epstein said:It's hard for me to imagine how all that content that
is in the big U.S. box also fits in the smaller U.K. box.
I don't think any of that stuff can be folded. Would you
want it folded?
Around 2003-2004, Warners in Aust. brought out many NTSC discs, probably as a cost-cutting, and time-saving measure. Titles included "Brigadoon", "Show Boat", "Anchors Aweigh", "Gypsy", "The Music Man", "The Great Race", "The Harvey Girls", "Calamity Jane" and the 1933 "Little Women". The discs are distinguishable with a red triangle shape in the top right-hand corner of the cover art which reads 'NTSC Region 4'.Persianimmortal said:But as a DVD disc issued in the UK, the only way for the manufacturer to be 100% certain that it will comply with all local TVs and DVD players, is for it to be PAL encoded. I've never heard of a native UK or Australian DVD being issued as NTSC.
Just wondering, does HTF get kick-backs to links to Amazon UK products? I'm getting ready to pre-order the UK set as the price is unbeatable and I'd like to do it through a HTF link.
It's being delayed. The original delivery estimate they gave me was October 14-18th. Now they say November 4-8th. Looks like it's been delayed for 3 weeks.Ronald Epstein said:Just received notice from Amazon UK this morning, as most of
you probably have as well.
There is a new release date for this set. Unfortunately, I don't
know if the set has been delayed or is being released ahead of
schedule. I just forgot what the original release date was overseas.
That's why I'm waiting for the inevitable price drop. I got the Sound Of Music big box for $20 eventually, There's no reason to think that wont happen with this set which is arguably even more niche.Charles Smith said:. But if I'm to take a big box o' stuff on this, I don't want the reduced size (and most likely reduced content)
