As a collector of all Best Picture Oscar winners, when will WB give us Blu-ray releases of "Broadway Melody", "Cimarron", "The Great Ziegfeld", "The Life of Emile Zola", and "Around the World in 80 Days"? And while we're at it, Criterion, how about a Blu-ray release of Olivier's "Hamlet"?

90 days after release date, these sets will be found at Costco, selling for $47. Two for $90.

I’m at a loss to try to understand who the potential customer might be.

Costco hasn't sold media for many years but I get your point. No need to prognosticate, the list price for the Warner Bros 90th Anniversary 50 film blu ray set was $598 per the press release posted to the forum. It eventually sold for as cheap as $70 at Amazon.
