hey now!! i am literally doing a search on pinterest and these pictures come up, and i save to my computer.....will do again for you. as for these pics, the 2nd one is a modern TCM poster, and the last one with the green tint is also a modern artist. i found a very nice 16x20 canvas print of this one on amazon for $21......coming all the way from china, but will be here by halloween! i bought it to remember this thread by!!!

Indeed it was pronounced that way in the '31 version. How it was pronounced by John Barrymore in the silent version, we'll never know...
Why the pronunciation changed by the '41 version and never reverted to "Yeekell," is another mystery.

Thanks, Marcco! I’ve been restoring poster images for years and have thousands of them. I find so many of them breathtakingly beautiful, especially the Swedish and Italian ones. They make a great computer screensaver slideshow.
