Below is a quote from TV Tomes.

"Twenty-Six Men was based on true official files of the Arizona Rangers in the final days taming the old west. In 1901."

This is a western that takes place in the earliest part of the 20th century. I would buy a set of this. Even "a best of," set would be good enough for me.

There are a couple of episodes of 26 MEN floating around on some public domain Western compilations. Brentwood has a TV Westerns compilation that includes, I think, a single episode, and PC/DVD Treasures has a dollar DVD with a single episode ("The Recruit," the first of the series) that I picked up at my local Target earlier this year. I have no idea as to how many episodes are in the public domain, but it sounds like it might have possibilities for some company specializing in PD material. Great theme song, by the way. "Saddle up, saddle up . . . . "

It's not an official release, but "26 Men" will arrive in two 4-episode volumes on November 29th, courtesy of public domain specialists Alpha Video at $5.95 for each volume. There's no specific episode information provided yet, but here's the link for Volume 1 at Alpha's website:
