Front projector? Yamaha LPX-500 (1 Viewer)

HI, building a new house, and am going to set up a dedicated HT room. I saw the Yamaha LPX-500 LCD projector on demo at the local Video store. This is my only exprerince with a front projector, and it is also a lot higher priced than a lot of the popular model, like the X1, and Z2. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the LPX-500, and considering a Z2, or X1, or even the new 4805 coming out, is there going to be that big of a difference for that much more money?

The lpx500 is a fairly good 16x9 projector (1280x720) but I would lean to the Z2 for a better contrast ratio.
