Sweet! Has anyone heard anything about which HDTV providers (DirecTV, Dish, etc) plan to carry it?

Nothing has been announced yet as to who will carry it..The article says still in negotiations with cable and sat providers...

If DISH picks this up and direcTV does not, I will propably make the switch to DISH or CABLE.

Is there a petition we need to sign or get one started so that Dish Network will hear our demand for it? Someone that knows who we should e-mail should post up the address.

There are no petitions going but the best thing is to send an email to your provider whether it be Dish, Direct TV or cable company....
