definitive pro sub200tl, 12 in subwoofer (1 Viewer)

i finally dumped my cheap polk subs and got one good one, the 12 inch definitive sub, it is pretty awesome to my ears,

i actually drove an hour to go to circuit city for a velodyne, but they didnt have it and said they didnt stock it, even though it was on the website and i have seen it there before, they said their communication is down so they could not call other circuit cities to find out if they had it, so i went to ulitimate electronics and picked up the definitive, not upset at all about ending up with that one

anyone else have a definitive? is there a break in period? any secrets to setup? i put a sub cable in the LFE in , not the two rca L and R inputs , is that the best way? i mainly use dvd and xbox

I had one, it lasted 4 months before I got a grown mans sub. SVS PB12 Plus/2.
In all seriousness, the DefTech was fine but did not have the smoothest FR and didn't really go that low, 30Hz maybe.

how did you have it hooked up? the LFE in or the L and R ins?

I have had that sub for 4 yrs now.I upgraded my speakers but not the sub.I found it to be a fine sub for ht and music.I cant compare it to the likes of the svs or hsu but i dont think you'll be disappointed.I have mine hookedup via "y" connect to the lfe and the L input.
